Port Adelaide Enfield Council
The Lighstview development is commonly known in Adelaide for its ultra-high density housing with limited impervious surfaces. Have a look here where a train of WSUD treatments were prioritised in the Masterplan to ensure capture and treatment of much of the stormwater before it entered the traditional piped network impact downstream waterways. Kerb Tree Inlet Systems
SPACE Downunder
Multiple councils and developers across Adelaide are installing these systems designed and patented by an SA based company. They are an innovate way to allow 'low flow' stormwater to passively irrigate street trees - triggering multiple benefits to the local community and climate while protecting receiving waters from excessive stormwater and associated pollution.
