EDUCATION
During my high school years I enjoyed subjects on nature such as geography and biology. Finishing school, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but decided on the bachelor in Environmental Management was being offered at Flinders University for the first time in the state. Although I started a small environmental company after university, my primary focus for work continued to be on my landscaping business.
My new career was sparked when I formed a renewed interest in environmental management issues especially around sustainable development. It was during my study in Environmental Policy & Management when I developed a passion for Water Sensitive Urban Design.

Prince Alfred College
-
My brother and I were fortunate enough to be sent to Princes for our high school years. We were not from a wealthy family but our parents worked hard to afford paying the fees
-
I enjoyed my years there, especially form year 9 onwards as my social life developed and I made lots of friends
-
The school had emphasis on the importance of outdoor activity including competitive sport and multiple hiking / biking / camping trips.
-
Many of the friendships I made in those years I hold dear today
-
In my final two years I joined the First Eight rowing team. I enjoyed the feeling of synchronized movement in the boat and the team spirit - I have been involved in a rowing club again for the past two years
-
This was the closest primary school to our home so my brother and I could walk or ride to and from home
-
Some friendships I made back then I still hold dear today
