Primary School Big Yard - Walkerville

Out With The Old...
This play area had a surface which was mostly dirt because of all the wear and tear, and the retainer walls and steps were rotted wooden sleepers presenting safety concerns. We used natural sandstone products for the walls and capping, and the rubber soft fall and synthetic lawn was fit-for-purpose as natural lawn could not withstand the relentless stomping by little people :)

Quality Outcome
Our brand was built on quality of both service and construction. Whatever the project dollar value, I made sure the finished product was top quality, and our clients were kept informed in the build-up and throughout delivery.
Highly Usable & Safe
Not shown in this photograph was the stainless steel handrails either sides of the staircases.
The trees we planted quickly grew to provide shade for most of the yard, which was beneficial due to the otherwise hot artificial surfaces.

Photography
One of my mates was an aspiring professional photographer. When I spotted a scissor-lift on the school grounds nearby, I couldn't resist asking if we could take an aerial shot. The operator obliged for a fair payment. See below - old school aerial photo now usually done by drone!

Attention to Detail
From perfectly bevelled and sanded timber edges to avoid the school kids getting splinters to the precise levels of the rubber and lawn, we always spent the extra time to make it the best quality outcome.
