Surveying macrophytes at Stebonheath Curtis Wetland

Recently, I have been conducting condition assessments for @City of Playford's three main constructed wetlands. It's been wonderful to observe these green infrastructure assets delivering numerous positive benefits, such as improving water quality, enabling water re-use, enhancing biodiversity, providing habitat, and contributing to cooling and amenity. I have created detailed reports for the council regarding the condition of the wetlands' functional components, suggesting some rectifications and enhancements. We have supplied tailored Water Sensitive SA Inspection and Maintenance Guidelines for their staff, which can assist in maintaining the optimal health and performance of the wetland assets. Below is a picture of Munno Para Wetland, where the Council can inject and harvest up to 1200 megalitres for use in its various parks and reserves. The nearby land will soon be developed for housing.
